Sugar activities

Again are there some new activities for the Sugar Desktop for Fedora. At the moment they are or will be soon in the testing repository of Fedora.

I would really appreciate if somebody can test this activities. Thanks again to Steven M. Parrish for his time to make the reviews.

python-olpcgames

Der Hauptgrund, dass es mit den Sugar-Aktivitäten nicht so vorangeht, resp. dass sehr viele noch fehlen, hat leider mehrere Gründe. Einer ist das olpcgames nicht in Fedora ist. Es gab zwar mal einen Review Request, aber der verlief leider im Sand. Nun lasse ich mich mal überraschen, ob es einen Antwort geben wird auf den Kommentar. Ein andere ist wohl, dass der Sugar-Desktop nicht alle Menschen anspricht ;-)

XO activities for Fedora

So far I'm still not knowing if I will get a XO to test Fedora it. Because of that I decided yesterday to start do it the other way around. Use sugar on Fedora. There is a lack of packed XO activities for Fedora, a good way to improve my personal packaging skills. During the build process I ran into a problem...

TypeError: start() takes exactly 1 argument (0 given)

Jeremy said that bundlebuilder.start() used to take an argument but no longer does with current Sugar. Now, I assume that it will no longer be possible to build sugar packages on a current Fedora 9 installation. I would like to hear that I'm wrong ;-)
